spent the good half of the first day of my new year...sleeping :p still suffering from jetlag actually, im practically living in the euro time zone right now. sleeping at 5am (europe 11pm) and waking up at 3pm (europe 8am). still feels alright now because its still holidaysss!! (:
last night clement and i went to PS to watch a movie- cz12, the jackie chan show! hahahahaha i saw reviews that it's good and it is! much better and funnier than expected. it was kinda like a mix of chinese and english and clement was commenting how kind jackie chan is to us -.- because he dont usually like chinese shows and i always fall asleep in english movies. lol. so it was like a mix of both. especially cos it was set in Paris, there was quite abit of French and stuff and we just came back from europe, especially him, so he liked it. after the show, went to marina to countdown and for fireworks! there were so many foreigners omg, we were commenting how there are actually more foreigners than singaporeans......... fireworks were amazing as usual! :D felt really close up, but i think the one time i felt the fireworks really super close up was at marina sq 3 years ago (i think) when i was counting down with the dancers. that time i rmb, i really felt as if the fireworks were falling down upon me haha. went to look for huiping whos counting down with some pharmacy guys and we went to chijmes for drinks! it was a kinda awkward combination haha. anyways, afterwards huiping troped to my house to stayover cos it was kinda late and she didnt want to disturb her family. reached my house at 330am and we ended up chit-chatting till 630am when we waited for the first train to pass by (we can see the trains from my room) and she went home. haha didnt feel sleepy at all cos afterall its my jetlagged sleeping time. slept at 630am after she left and i rmb the skies turning bright :) it was the start of a brand new day and i was just going to sleep:D
fully woke up at 3+pm again and watched shows, ate and enjoying the breeze. what a windy day today!!!! really lovin' it. i really love breezes and winds hahah except the harsh kind i experienced at beijing in winter. i love the breeze and wind in singapore (: well, blogging now in the living room with the wind in my face! love how my house is facing outwards, open area and we are among the higher floors <3
alot of people already got down to writing down their resolutions for the new year, and im procrastinating.....and i think if i procrastinate long enough i'll never get down to it haa. gotta start thinking i guess! didnt really set any the past year cos of procrastination, but i rmb 2 years ago when i did, i felt so accomplished when i managed to fulfil them (:
